MERIEUX NUTRISCIENCES in Allentown, PA is seeking a Lab Sanitation Technician. The role supports laboratory operations by washing containers, maintaining a clean work area, and properly storing chemicals and supplies.

The position emphasizes adherence to SOPs, safety, and quality systems. Expect a 5-day schedule (Mon-Fri) with standard lab PPE and a collaborative team environment in a high-value health-focused laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and established SOPs to perform routine tasks.
• Experience working in a laboratory or cleanroom environment preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Wash containers used in analysis and ensure proper cleaning of the work area.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace around sinks and lab equipment.
• Properly store chemicals, reagents and supplies and maintain stock.
• Organize laboratory glassware and plastics for efficient workflows.
• Decontaminate materials using the autoclave and support quality processes.
• Identify departures from the quality system and document observations per procedures.
