Job summary

Qualifications

• Must pass company tests measuring basic skills, job skills, mechanical aptitude and/or other interests, skills and characteristics.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a good work record and disciplinary history.
• Demonstrate physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Must have color vision and be able to distinguish the red/green spectrum due to chemical sampling.
• Must possess basic computer skills and be able to accurately enter information on spreadsheets.
• Must possess knowledge of basic math and units of weights and measure (e.g. grams, milliliters, etc.).
• Applicant must be able to read, write and speak the English language to comprehend instructions and communicate.
• New hires must pass a drug test and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Abide by all Company policies and comply with Health, Safety, Operations regulations.
• Complete safety trainings, pre-shift meetings, and required certifications.
• Follow CGMP and CGLP guidelines.
• Collect samples from all plant areas and protect sample integrity.
• Perform cane trash tests and document results promptly.
• Communicate abnormal results and equipment issues to supervisors.
• Maintain sterile lab area and assist with housekeeping.
