Job summary

The American Crystal Sugar Company is seeking a Lab Foreman to supervise laboratory functions and staff during the shift, with Lab Benchperson duties as needed.

Key responsibilities include analyzing routine and special tests, trouble-shooting analysis issues, and maintaining accurate records of sugar and by-product analyses. The role supports factory operations in troubleshooting process problems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year of general college chemistry.
• Must pass Mechanical Aptitude Test and Basic Skills Test.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lab functions and staff during shift.
• Perform Lab Benchperson duties as needed.
• Analyze and perform routine analysis and special tests as required.
• Trouble shoot problems in analyses.
• Responsible for sugar and by-product analyses, reporting results and maintaining records.
• Assist factory operations in analyzing and troubleshooting process problems.
