Job summary

Certified Group in California is seeking a laboratory sample processor to support FSNS operations. You will receive, prepare, and set up samples for analysis, and enter data in a LIMS while ensuring proper temperature control and accurate record keeping.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic lab knowledge, and 1+ year in a food-testing lab; overnight travel may be required. This is an on-site position in Turlock, CA with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic knowledge of concepts and practices of a testing laboratory
• 1+ years of experience in a commercial food-testing laboratory preferred
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and set-up samples for analysis
• Enter data, choose analyses, log and approve samples using a LIMS database
• Process and maintain client samples at correct temperatures
• Segregate samples according to FSNS procedures
• Assist with shipping of customer supplies including return coolers
• Communicate with clients for clarification on orders as needed
• Follow FSNS procedures and maintain records throughout procedures
• Maintain laboratory conditions, equipment, supplies, and QA programs
