Job summary

Certified Group is seeking a Laboratory Technician to process customer samples, ensuring protocols are followed for receipt and handling. You will notify customers of issues related to samples submitted for testing.

You will receive, prepare, and set up samples for analysis; log analyses in a LIMS; maintain proper temperatures and lab conditions; communicate with clients for order clarifications; and ensure documentation is accurate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a commercial food-testing laboratory preferred.
• Basic knowledge of concepts and practices of a testing laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and set-up samples for analysis.
• Enter data and log analyses in a LIMS database.
• Process and maintain client samples at proper temperatures.
• Follow FSNS procedures and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and lab conditions.
• Communicate with clients for clarification on orders.
