Job summary

ALS is seeking a Login Technician to efficiently receive and process samples from clients and field personnel. You will log samples into the LIMS, ensure proper containerage and temperatures, and help transport and dispose of materials following SOPs. The role requires attention to detail and strong data entry skills.

Good English communication, ability to multitask, and willingness to learn are essential. A High School Diploma is required, with a B.S. in Chemistry or related field preferred.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and able to accurately interpret and transcribe information.
• Typing/data entry skills required.
• Familiarity with chemical symbols and general scientific terminology.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive samples from outside clients and field personnel.
• Log samples into the laboratory LIMS system.
• Transport samples to appropriate storage locations and dispose of expired samples.
• Perform other duties as assigned and directed.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and QA manuals.
