Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Sample Specialist to support onsite operations at our Madison, WI location. You will help move samples between Sample Prep, Lab and Microbiology, ensuring accurate tracking and timely processing in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, strong computer skills, attention to detail and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime and weekend work may be required; training on safety and waste handling will be provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Move samples on a regular basis to the assigned location between Sample Prep, Lab and Microbiology.
• Monitor sample location bins in various lab areas and sample prep.
• Proactively communicates any issues and concerns about sample movements to the supervisor or lab leaders.
• Ensure every barcode is scanned and the sample has the correct location assigned.
• Occasionally work in the sample disposal area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
