Job summary

Eurofins US Food Testing in Madison, WI is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support day-to-day operations in a fast-paced lab. The role involves assisting lab personnel, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and helping ensure accurate testing workflows.

Required are a High School diploma or equivalent, the ability to read and record results, and willingness to learn GMP/GLP practices. Applicants must live within a commutable distance to Madison and may work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn new tasks.

• Will be exposed to potential food allergens.

Responsibilities

• Assists laboratory personnel in day-to-day operations.
• Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment.
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate.
• Dispose of samples once complete.
• Place pipettes in washer and put away glassware.
• Wash stoppers and ensure proper lab sanitation.
• Contributes to efficient, accurate testing processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
