Job summary

Sterling Labs is seeking a Courier to support the timely and secure transport of laboratory samples between collection sites and our Chicago-area branches. You will ensure specimen integrity, maintain accurate documentation, and provide responsive service while following safety and traffic regulations.

You will operate a company vehicle, use handheld devices to log pickups, and adapt to changing routes and weather conditions, delivering reliable service to our clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong time management and punctuality.
• Attention to detail in handling and documenting samples.
• Ability to follow route instructions and adjust to unexpected conditions.
• Basic customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records using digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickups.
• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver all daily picks to branches at the end of your shift.
• Handle lab samples in a safe and efficient manner.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws.
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed.
• Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with clients and branch staff.
• Identify and resolve minor issues related to pickup or delivery delays.
