Job summary

Certified Group is seeking a Courier I in Columbus, OH to safely pick up and deliver samples between customer locations and our laboratories. You will uphold sample integrity, maintain chain-of-custody, and provide courteous service while following company policies.

You will operate a company vehicle, use routing and delivery apps, log documentation, and communicate with dispatch. A valid license and clean driving record are required; weekend shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of courier/delivery or transportation experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license issued in the operating state.
• Clean driving record with no DUIs in past 5 years.
• Comfortable using mobile apps, GPS navigation, and delivery software.
• Good communication and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to transport samples between locations.
• Ensure on-time delivery and proper sample condition with chain-of-custody docs.
• Use mobile app to receive routes, log stops, upload photos, and notify dispatch.
• Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
• Follow all driving regulations and company safety policies.
• Report accidents or vehicle issues promptly.
• Assist with vehicle checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Coordinate with lab staff on sample schedules and priorities.
• Complete required FDA collections and photo documentation as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, professional work environment.
• Participate in team initiatives and meet department goals.
• Complete training and comply with safety standards.
