Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of media, basic solutions, and reagents or materials for lab assays, autoclaving glassware and other supplies, plant growth, cultivation of plants and pathogens, and lab organization/cleaning. (30% of time)
• Assist with cleaning and sterilization/autoclaving of pipette tips, glassware, beads, and other supplies as requested. (30% of time)
• Assist with labeling and organization/cleaning of lab. (20% of time)
• Assist with basic lab procedures/protocols. (20% of time)

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Ability to drive (valid driver's license required)
• Physical ability to stand, lift, and operate a vehicle
• Basic knowledge of lab protocols and laboratory safety practices
• Experience with autoclaving, handling glassware, and record keeping is preferred

Physical Demands

Requires driving, standing, and lifting. Must have security access to a lab environment.
