Avantor's Lab Resource Coordinator role in Cambridge, MA supports daily experimental and operational needs, acting as liaison between lab managers and site operations.

Responsibilities include ensuring SOP and GLP compliance, managing reagents, inventory, and cold-chain storage, and coordinating maintenance for analytical instruments. Candidates with 1–2 years lab experience and strong communication are preferred.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor's in scientific discipline preferred.
• 1–2 years of laboratory experience preferred; undergraduate labs accepted.
• Customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with lab instruments and basic testing procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Act as primary liaison for research teams, supporting daily experimental and operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, Work Instructions, GLP standards, and safety regulations.
• Manage reagent, consumable, and equipment inventory; coordinate procurement and stock optimization.
• Oversee cold-chain storage systems (e.g., -80°C freezers) for sample integrity.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, calibration, and service requests for analytical instruments.
• Maintain shared laboratory infrastructure and submit facility work orders.
• Participate in EHS audits and safety walkthroughs; assist with onboarding and safety training.
• Train personnel on core lab workflows, instrumentation, and PPE programs.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication between scientific teams and operations.
• Support space utilization initiatives and laboratory organization.
• Perform routine lab tasks, including equipment checks and waste management.
