Job summary

Yoh Life Sciences in Longmont, CO seeks a temporary Research Associate to support a national diagnostics customer. The role covers lab work, assay development, data analysis, and compliance with SOPs.

Required a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, laboratory experience, and strong communication skills. Schedule is M-F 8-5, with competitive hourly pay and benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or similar degree program.
• Functional knowledge of chemistry and biology principles applicable to the diagnostic industry.
• Good analytical and documentation skills.
• Working knowledge of statistical methods and techniques.
• Experienced with MS Office.
• Experience working in laboratory setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes lab work and assays/experiments utilizing standard lab equipment, following standard operating procedures.
• Performs process development, assay development, product testing and optimization of diagnostic tests.
• Performs testing of assays.
• Participates in initial data analysis, records, and communicates findings.
• Handle and utilize lab equipment as required and must be comfortable working in a lab.
• Ensures compliance with established business policies and regulatory requirements.
• Use problem solving skills.
• Handle biohazardous materials in accordance with Company and FDA regulations.
