Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field such as chemistry or biology.
• Minimum 6 years in lab/quality control with leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with quality systems and food/pharma regulatory standards is a plus.
• Proficiency with LIMS, SAP, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Analytical Laboratory team and oversee testing release of materials and products.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, FDA, ISO 17025, and Nestlé quality systems.
• Represent Quality Control in site and network leadership meetings.
• Prioritize testing, manage workflow, and ensure timely release testing.
• Coordinate testing schedules with production timelines.
• Review and authorize laboratory results with data-driven evaluation.
• Support product disposition and data entry in SAP and lab systems.
• Ensure release or rejection according to quality standards.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting compliance or quality.
• Drive continuous improvement in efficiency and service levels.
• Lead investigations of out-of-spec results and document findings.
• Provide technical lab support to Manufacturing, QA, R&D, and others.
• Support stability studies, method validations, and other requests.
• Communicate testing status and KPIs to management.
• Develop and implement lab documentation (SOPs, specs, reports).
• Coach and train analysts; conduct performance reviews and development planning.
• Build succession plans and support career development.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Planning, R&D, and others.
• Interact with regulatory agencies and external partners as needed.
• Support additional projects as assigned.
