Job summary

Emergent BioSolutions in Canton, MA is seeking a laboratory testing professional for a 12-month limited-term assignment. The role focuses on daily testing per SOP, protocol-driven non-routine testing, data review, and maintaining lab operations to ensure timely results for internal and external customers.

You will support GMP-compliant lab activities, participate in CAPAs and change controls, and assist with calibration and documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires health and safety compliance and vaccination policy adherence.
• Bachelor's or Master's in a scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience.
• Hands-on experience with assays and instruments such as ELISA and cell culture.
• Strong technical and communication skills (oral/written/listening).

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory tests and related activities to deliver timely results to customers.
• Coordinate scheduling of laboratory activities with management.
• Investigate root cause of laboratory deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Perform instrument calibration and maintenance per procedures.
• Support quality systems, CAPA, and change control processes.
