Job summary

Harvard Medical School, within the Department of Biomedical Informatics, is seeking a Project Coordinator for the Park Laboratory. This role supports administrative matters across multiple projects and collaborates with 30-35 scientific staff, postdocs and students.

You will coordinate daily project activities, assist with proposals and budgets, and manage onboarding and stakeholder communications. The position is term-based with potential extension and a 37.5-hour workweek.

Qualifications

  • Three years' related administrative, coordination or related experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; Harvard systems experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinates daily activities of the projects and tasks listed in the role description.
  • Handles paperwork for data acquisition from other institutions and NIH.
  • Schedules meetings with internal and external collaborators and coordinates travel.
  • Provides day-to-day operations management and administrative support to Dr. Park and his laboratory.
  • Assists with drafting and editing project proposals and budgets and onboarding processes.
  • Plans, prioritizes and organizes work with independent judgment and discretion.
  • Interacts with Harvard administrators, faculty and external partners as needed.
