Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Project Analyst to join its Lab on Halsey team in Portland, OR. You will serve as a liaison between scientists, laboratory staff and management to support diagnostics and ensure quality workflow.

Responsibilities include compiling, analyzing, and documenting laboratory test performance for method validations and verifications, and assisting with training, CAP preparation and regulatory compliance. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology.
• 1 year or more of clinical laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between scientists, laboratory technical staff and management in support of diagnostics.
• Compile, analyze, and document laboratory test performance confirming validity for method validations, verifications, method correlations, linearity evaluations, and carryover studies.
• Serve as the primary laboratory technical liaison for two affiliated hospital systems.
• Respond to laboratory process questions and provide guidance regarding testing procedures, workflows, and laboratory operations.
• Field and research questions from QA or testing personnel.
• Assist with onboarding, monitoring, and documentation of training and routine regulatory functions.
• Assist with preparation for CAP and other accreditation surveys.
• Identify recurring process problems and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety requirements of Labcorp, CLIA, CAP, ICH GCP, and other regulatory bodies.
