Job summary

Labcorp in Gresham, OR seeks a Sr. Technologist at Mount Hood Hospital. You will act as a senior member of the laboratory team focusing on quality systems, regulatory compliance, QA activities, and continuous process improvement while supporting daily operations and staff.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a chemical/biological science, 4+ years of clinical lab testing, and ASCP or AMT certification. Preference for Blood Bank experience and leadership in QA/QC, audits, and process improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
4+ years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
ASCP or AMT certification.

Responsibilities

Lead quality systems, regulatory compliance, QA activities, and continuous process improvement.
Determine specimen acceptability and perform routine/complex procedures per SOPs.
Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
Mentor staff and provide guidance on testing and troubleshooting.
Support quality initiatives, audits, and corrective actions.
