Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Registers patients and performs test order entry into laboratory information system accurately and efficiently.
• Verifies specimen identification and prepares and processes specimens.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the work area and adequate supplies.
• Provides support such as answering telephones and faxing reports.
• Mentors MLA students in specimen processing utilizing AHN policies.
• Orders, performs and results waived testing.
