Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Lab Pack Chemist to handle hazardous materials, inventory, labeling, and packaging per Lab Pack policies. The role includes on-site services such as waste collection, sampling, and safety inspections, with documentation and regulatory compliance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in general science; a BS is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with clear record.
• Ability to travel 20% with overnight stays.
• CDL B within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Handle hazardous materials including inventorying, identifying, segregating, and packaging waste per Lab Pack policies and applicable regulations.
• Perform onsite services which may include waste collection, consolidation, sampling, safety/compliance inspections.
• Assist other groups for internal and onsite needs; prepare shipment of packaged waste with proper labeling and loading.
• Complete documentation including shipping papers, LDRs, evaluations/certifications and other regulatory paperwork.
