Job summary

Veolia, after acquiring Clean Earth, seeks a Lab Pack Chemist to support off-site treatment and disposal of hazardous waste. You will work with the Clean Earth team to inventory, package and ship waste, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety on every job.

The role requires CDL with Hazmat endorsement within 6 months, DOT and safety training, and the ability to perform on-site duties as part of a multi-group support effort.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in general science; BS preferred.
• CDL with Hazmat Endorsement required within 6 months.
• DOT requirements and safety training knowledge.
• Lab Pack definitions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handles hazardous materials including inventorying, identifying, segregating, and packaging waste material.
• Perform onsite services such as waste collection, bulking, sampling and inspections.
• Prepare shipment of packaged waste with accurate documentation.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and on-site plans.
