St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a staff member for registration and specimen processing in the laboratory. The role emphasizes accurate patient identification, order placement, and timely handling of samples in EPIC and LIS systems.

You will perform registration, receive and process specimens, and support the billing process while delivering compassionate customer service to patients and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year clerical experience.
• Data entry speeds above 100 keystrokes per minute.

Mansioni

• Register patients and ensure correct demographic and payer information in the system.
• Receive, label, and route specimens accurately to the LIS and testing locations.
• Maintain 100% accuracy in patient identification and specimen labeling.
• Provide courteous, empathetic service to patients, families, and staff.
• Support the Laboratory Quality program with documentation of issues and resolutions.
