Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification required or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year phlebotomy experience or completion of YNHHS Phlebotomy Internship.
• Experience in customer service and interacting with patients.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy for patients at draw stations and support lab operations.
• Ensure proper labeling and specimen transport in compliance with policies.
• Verify patient identity and accurate orders in the EMR.
• Coordinate with coordinators on authorizations and workflow for lab testing.
• Maintain HIPAA/JCAHO compliance and professional behavior.
