Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is hiring an Inventory Specialist/Laboratory Operations Specialist on a 12-month contract with a high likelihood of extension within the pharmaceutical industry. The role is hands-on, focusing on inventory and logistics to support laboratory operations.

Ideal candidates have warehouse or logistics experience; laboratory background is not required. Bachelor's degree and proficiency with Excel/Outlook are preferred as you will move samples, manage shipments, and maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; any major considered.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to regularly move boxes/racks and lift approximately 20–35 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on inventory environment.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, organize, store, and track samples and laboratory materials
• Move boxes, racks, and materials between freezers, refrigerators, and storage areas
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update databases after material movement
• Fulfill internal requests for samples and materials while working against deadlines
• Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate domestic and international shipments
• Manage a steady queue of inventory and logistics requests with speed and accuracy
• Communicate with internal teams and shipping vendors regarding inventory and shipment needs
