The Lubrizol Corporation in Brecksville, OH is hiring a Lab Operator to bridge manufacturing and innovation in a dynamic R&D environment. You will operate extrusion, molding equipment, and mixers to run trials, generate data, and support product development.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in a manufacturing setting. Shift is on-site, Monday-Thursday, with related safety practices and data documentation responsibilities.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, pilot plant, or similar industrial environment.
• Experience operating plastics processing equipment (extrusion, injection molding, or similar).
• Strong observational and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to analyze results and identify process issues for root cause solving.
• Basic math skills and data interpretation.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble, prepare, and maintain extrusion, injection molding, and other processing equipment for testing readiness.
• Operate and adjust extrusion lines, mixers, mills, and molding equipment for R&D trials.
• Deliver accurate lab results and maintain safe working conditions.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and workflow efficiency.
• Review and validate test data for accuracy and communicate issues.
• Document test conditions, observations, and results in Excel and internal systems.
• Communicate test results and updates to scientists and engineers.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs per SOPs.
