The role emphasizes 5S lab practices, equipment troubleshooting, SOP development, and potential scale-up activities. A strong engineering or science background and at least five years in thermoplastic processing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• At least five years of thermal processing of TPUs.
• Experience operating and maintaining lab equipment safely.
• Strong communication and writing skills for technical reports.
• Proficiency with MS Office and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety protocols and lab best practices.
• Operate processing equipment safely (injection/ compression molders, extruders).
• Write and review SOPs and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Capture data with ELN and maintain records.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes to keep labs running.
• Assist with scale-up of processing equipment.
