Job summary

HP in Corvallis, OR is seeking a Lab Technician – Lab Operations, Tooling and Facilities Support to keep laboratory spaces safe, compliant, and ready for engineering work. You will coordinate tooling maintenance, access control, and facility changes, working with EHS, facilities, IT, and engineering partners.

This hands-on role requires strong organization, proactive communication, and the ability to manage inspections, tool status tracking, and equipment moves while supporting safety programs

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, technical certificate, or equivalent hands-on experience in a lab, facilities, or operations environment.
• Experience in laboratory, manufacturing, or technical support settings.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and structured operational processes.
• Comfort working across multiple lab and office environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly lab inspections and safety walkthroughs across supported spaces.
• Document inspection findings and elevate issues as required.
• Participate in safety meetings to support lab operations.
• Support safety compliance for tools, including safety start-up permit activities with EHS.
