Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Hawaii seeks a general laboratory support technician to maintain cleanliness, assist production with stocking and equipment maintenance, and support buffer manufacturing labs. You will perform 5S audits and liaise with biochemists to meet weekly buffers needs.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A./A.S. in relevant field or relevant work experience preferred.
• The ideal candidate will be proficient in time management, possess well developed interpersonal skills, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and exhibit attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Peform general laboratory support functions to maintain laboratory cleanliness, operation, and safety. Including:
• Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, other lab support duties
• Low complexity manufacturing operations (buffer mfg) and equipment support (column maintenance, equipment maintenance and/or cleaning)
• glassware washing
• Material inventory monitoring support
• Collaborating with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet weekly schedule
• Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed
• 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations
