Siemens Healthineers in Hawaii is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Laboratory Support role within our plant. The position focuses on general lab support, equipment and buffer manufacturing tasks, and maintaining GMP-related cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support material inventory.
• Collaborate with biochemists to order buffers for weekly schedule.
• Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed.
• Perform 5S audits for lab cleanliness and organization.

Perform laboratory support functions. This is an entry level position in a Manufacturing group that is responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays. Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered. Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred. Local candidates are preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general laboratory support functions to maintain laboratory cleanliness, operation, and safety.
• Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, other lab support duties.
• Low complexity manufacturing operations (buffer mfg) and equipment support (column maintenance, equipment maintenance and/or cleaning).
• Glassware washing.
• Material inventory monitoring support.
• Collaborating with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet weekly schedule.
• Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed.
• 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A./A.S. in relevant field or relevant work experience prefferred.
• The ideal candidate will be proficient in time management, possess well developed interpersonal skills, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and exhibit attention to detail.

The base pay range for this position is: $55,450 - $76,241. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
