Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and comprehend English instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Knowledge of Laboratory Information System and email is required.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders and triage incoming specimens.
• Process specimens/slides per SOPs and ensure proper delivery.
• Perform clerical tasks including patient demographics and insurance data entry.
• Communicate with clients to obtain missing information and provide assistance.
• Travel to multiple locations as needed; participate in CSI and continuing education programs.
• Maintain inventory and report issues to supervisor; assist in training new staff.
• Perform QC checks and document laboratory equipment/test system status.
