Job summary

Daviess Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Medical Technologist to manage daily clinical laboratory operations and staff, ensuring accurate testing and timely reporting of results.

The role requires a BS degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, or Biology, Indiana MT licensure, and at least five years of MT experience. Shift is Monday–Friday, 1:00pm–9:00pm with every 3rd weekend; 40 hours per week, on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology.
• Indiana licensure in Medical Technology.
• Five (5) years experience as a Medical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operations of the Clinical Laboratory including staff performing testing and reporting test results.
• Maintains policies and procedures and quality control practices in the Clinical Laboratory.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
