Job summary

Personalis is seeking a CLS Supervisor to oversee clinical laboratory testing and supervise team members across sample prep and sequencing workflows in Fremont, CA. This role includes ensuring quality control, regulatory compliance, and accurate patient records while supporting audits and on-site inspections.

The position offers a shift-based schedule (3rd shift, PM shift, and potential premium) with competitive hourly compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences or related discipline.
• Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist (CGMBS) license.
• At least four years of CLS experience in a clinical lab; minimum 1 year in a Lead role.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report clinical laboratory testing on patient samples to aid physicians diagnose and treat patients (extractions, library preparation, enrichments, sequencing).
• Handle and process patient specimens per procedures, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely reporting of results.
• Select, implement and evaluate quality control materials for QC of laboratory assays.
