Serif Biomedicines is seeking a highly organized Laboratory Operations Associate to manage sample inventory and support CMC and broader lab teams in Cambridge, MA. You will help organize cargo handoffs, coordinate procurement of reagents, and maintain equipment and lab spaces.

The role requires bench experience, strong organization, and the ability to work cross-functionally with scientists and operations leadership in a fast-paced environment. Growth into lab management is encouraged.

Qualifikationen

• BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in laboratory operations or sample management.
• Hands-on bench experience at the Research Associate or Associate Scientist level.
• Experience in sample management and/or laboratory operations.
• Hands-on experience with cytometers, Fragment Analyzers, and chromatography instruments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with scientists and operations leadership.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Build out and maintain sample management and inventory system.
• Organize final cargo and coordinate handoffs of materials across teams.
• Provide updates on cargo inventory to CMC leadership and other team leads.
• Procure key enzymes, buffers, and consumables for the team.
• Run decontamination and cleaning protocols on analyzers and cytometers weekly.
• Perform daily Lab Tasks to maintain organization and readiness.
• Assist in onboarding new lab members with bench space and equipment procurement.
• Support fridge and freezer allocation and safety training checks.
