Job summary

NC State University in Raleigh, NC seeks a Temporary-Technical/Paraprofessional to provide operational, administrative, and organizational support for a growing lab focused on ribosome assembly and related research. The role coordinates lab duties, SOPs, inventory, budgeting, data storage, and outreach activities.

Working in the Physics and Astronomy Department, you will assist with safety, procedures, website updates, a summer high school program, and ensure smooth day-to-day lab operations

Responsibilities

• Support lab operations, safety, inventory, purchasing, and budget activities.

• Maintain SOPs and data storage/backup processes.
• Support website and social media updates.
• Support the summer high school research program.
• Other duties as assigned.
