Job summary

Unio Health Partners seeks a Lab Manager to oversee daily laboratory operations across California locations. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance (CDPH, CLIA, CAP, and state/federal laws) and data integrity while directing staff, scheduling, and budgets.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field with 5+ years of lab management experience, strong communication, and leadership abilities. Periodic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
• 5+ years of laboratory management experience.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory operations and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Manage lab staff, payroll, scheduling, training, and customer services.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and calibrated properly.
• Develop and implement laboratory policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage budgets and control expenses within limits.
• Maintain laboratory data accuracy and data security.
• Develop and enforce laboratory safety protocols and train staff.
