Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in South San Francisco, CA. This on-site role involves coordinating with management and Lab Services to meet operational goals while upholding rigorous safety and quality standards.

You will manage inventory for lab consumables and reagents, ensure proper handling and storage, and prepare receiving and shipping documents. The position requires a proactive, detail-oriented team player able to work 40 hours weekly with required overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with college-level coursework in sciences or an AA/AS in a related science.
• Experience in material packing/handling, inventory management or warehousing preferred.
• LEAN or Operational Excellence training is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must have a valid California driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management and lab services staff to meet operational goals while upholding safety and quality protocols.
• Maintain compliance with GLP, DOT, and HazMat regulations.
• Manage inventory for lab consumables, reagents, chemicals, and glassware across departments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure reagents, equipment, and resources are available for projects.
• Pack materials for proper shipping and prepare shipping documents.
• Respond to customer inquiries and participate in safety training.
