Microbac is seeking an experienced Operations Manager in Fayetteville, NC to stabilize and drive performance across laboratory operations. You will lead department managers, ensure clear expectations, and foster a culture of ownership.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to prioritize work with leadership, and focus on safety, quality, and compliance while delivering timely, quality results for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations management or a related field.
• Laboratory setting experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities.
• Ability to implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Lead Department Leads and promote high accountability.
• Plan resources, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Monitor capacity and adjust staffing to meet demand.
• Develop SOPs aligned with organizational goals.
• Communicate with clients and ensure high level of service.
• Manage inventory, equipment utilization, and supply chain.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Address operational issues promptly to minimize impact.
