The role combines hands-on wet lab tasks with strong administrative leadership, requiring experience managing complex lab operations, animal work, and collaborative cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (minimum)
• Excellent computer skills; advanced proficiency with Google apps, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Highly organized with experience in operations of complex teams
• Exceptional communication skills coordinating scientists
• Ability to navigate complex environments and foster collaboration
• Ability to synthesize and articulate operational needs
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic environments
• Strong aptitude for handling ambiguity

Responsabilités

• Manage, coordinate and track the team’s ordering, receiving and sharing of common reagents
• Supervise and handle administrative tasks in support of the lab’s research and operational needs
• Assist with experimental tasks including maintenance of animal colonies, cell lines and routine molecular and biochemical assays and basic animal behaviors and tissue harvest
• Liaise between lab and operations on fixed asset inventories, purchasing, cores usage, EH&S and compliance
• Participate in an interactive, cross-functional, team-oriented scientific culture
• Study the mechanistic basis of cell health and rejuvenation
• Maintain and develop lab collections and databases
