Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking a Research Operations Lead to serve as the operational backbone of our Life Sciences team. You will own end-to-end day-to-day operations—from procurement and inventory to space planning and equipment management—and you will build scalable systems as the lab grows.

You will work closely with scientists to enable uninterrupted research and experimentation. You will also lead budgeting, forecasting with Finance, and vendor management, including contracts and preventive

• Experience leading operations in a life sciences or biotech environment.
• Ability to scale operational systems as teams grow.
• Comfort working across hands-on and strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations end to end: procurement, inventory, equipment scheduling, space organization
• Develop and extend procurement workflows and inventory tracking
• Manage facilities, space buildouts, and vendor relationships
• Own operating budget: spend tracking, capital purchases, forecasting with Finance
• Oversee vendor contracts, service levels, and field-service coordination
• Support growth in headcount and footprint with compliant, scalable processes
• Collaborate with IT and Workplace teams to align facilities with research needs
