ALS Group USA, Corp seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead our environmental laboratory operations in a high-throughput setting. You will oversee technical activities, ensure regulatory compliance, manage staff, and maintain facility and equipment performance to deliver high-quality analytical services.

Responsibilities include driving efficiency, managing KPIs, and coordinating with department supervisors to meet client expectations and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science (required).
• Minimum 5 years of laboratory management experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 17025 and environmental regulations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely project completion.
• Provide technical guidance on instrument troubleshooting, method development, and data interpretation.
• Ensure proper use, calibration, and performance of laboratory instrumentation.
• Support development and implementation of new analytical methods.
• Lead a high-volume production laboratory to meet turnaround time and on-time delivery goals.
• Monitor workflow, sample volume, and resource allocation to maintain throughput.
• Establish and report KPIs including TAT, backlog, capacity and productivity.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for efficiency and reliability.
