Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Biology or related field required.
• Experience with Daphnia and algal cultures preferred.
• Ability to document daily lab activities in a notebook.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and feed regular Daphnia cultures; prepare media and document daily activities.
• Generate and maintain arsenic-containing Daphnia cultures; prepare arsenic media and handle waste.
• Generate and maintain chemostats; wash glassware, make algal media, test pH, sustain cultures.
• Support undergraduate research students; order supplies and assist with lab meetings and training.
