UCLA Health in Los Angeles is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support the Translational Oncology Research Labs. You will help maintain laboratory and office operations by managing supplies and inventory, receiving and distributing shipments, coordinating research sample shipments, handling mail and deliveries across UCLA locations, assisting with equipment maintenance, and supporting safety procedures.

This is a limited appointment which may convert to a career.

Formación

• Ability to place and receive orders with accuracy.
• Proper usage of laboratory equipment.
• Excel-based inventory control updates.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Stock laboratory and office supplies.
• Knowledge of ordering system for vendors and PO reconciliation.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain laboratory and office supplies and inventory.
• Receive and distribute shipments across UCLA locations.
• Coordinate research sample shipments to/from labs.
• Handle mail and deliveries within the department.
• Assist with laboratory equipment and routine maintenance.
• Support laboratory safety procedures and documentation.
• Maintain records and databases for inventory control.
• Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operations.
