Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services is seeking a Laboratory Operations Technician to help manage the flow of samples, materials, and laboratory resources that support critical testing and research activities.

This role is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in laboratory support, logistics, inventory management, manufacturing, or warehouse operations who are detail-focused and organized, looking to build a career in life sciences. Full-time, on-site with a 8am-4:30pm shift in Columbia, MO.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, labeling, logging, and storing incoming samples and study materials.
• Tracking inventory, sample locations, usage, expiration dates, and archival activities using electronic systems.
• Coordinating the movement of materials between laboratory departments while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Assisting with the return, disposal, and archiving of materials at study completion.
• Monitoring incoming samples for quality concerns and notifying leadership of any discrepancies.
• Maintaining accurate records in accordance with laboratory procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting compliance with GLP, CGMP, and safety regulations.
• Assisting with loading, unloading, and proper storage of laboratory materials and supplies.
• Performing routine operational tasks, including calibration support and equipment maintenance.
• Supporting specialized laboratory functions such as sample prep, homogenization, culturing, or handling regulated materials.
