Job summary

United Urology Group in Beltsville, MD, is seeking a Director of Laboratory Operations to oversee the Laboratory Department, including clinical and anatomical pathology related to urologic diseases.

You will manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, develop staff competencies, and lead quality improvement initiatives while coordinating with the Medical Director and other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, biology, or chemistry.
• Current certification in an area of laboratory medicine.
• Experience supervising a high-volume clinical laboratory.
• Familiarity with CLIA and CAP regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct laboratory operations per regulations.
• Manage budgets and ensure staff competence.
