Job summary

OHSU Knight Cancer Institute in Portland seeks a Laboratory Operations Coordinator to help maintain laboratories, ensure regulatory compliance, procure supplies and equipment, and support research activities.

You will coordinate projects, manage milestones and deliverables, design and implement processes, and provide training and day-to-day administrative support in a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant field and at least 1 year of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience in a research laboratory setting.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Exemplifies and promotes KCI culture.
• Supports general laboratory techniques under supervision.
• Assists in maintaining equipment and banking cell lines.
• Helps in ordering supplies and managing inventory.
• Coordinates projects with milestones and deliverables.
