Job summary

NexusTest seeks a detail-oriented Lab Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of our testing labs and cleanrooms across locations. You will ensure that our equipment, environments, and safety programs run at peak efficiency while coordinating with R&D, vendors, and facility operations.

Responsibilities include safety audits, calibration planning, inventory control, and space planning to support fast-paced engineering projects in semiconductor testing environments.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Physical Sciences, or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years managing technical laboratories, semiconductor test floors, or cleanrooms.
• Safety: Knowledge of lab safety, ESD protection, ISO cleanroom standards.
• Vendor: Experience coordinating calibration programs and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day laboratory and cleanroom operations, ensuring optimal workflow and organization.
• Enforce cleanroom protocols, contamination control, and ESD safety per industry guidelines.
• Coordinate installation, maintenance, and calibration of automated test equipment and lab infrastructure.
• Maintain asset tracking, service records, and vendor contracts.
• Enforce EHS protocols, conduct safety audits, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage lab space, bench assignments, and inventory to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with R&D, technicians, and site operations for equipment bring-ups and upgrades.
