Job summary

BioLabs North Carolina is seeking a Lab Operations Associate to support routine maintenance of a shared laboratory facility and assist resident companies with requests. The role reports to the Lab Operations Manager and offers hands-on experience in a cutting-edge biotechnology setting.

The ideal candidate has a life sciences background, at least 1 year in a lab environment, and can manage equipment, waste, inventory, and safety programs while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology/chemistry, genetics, or other related life sciences discipline.
• Strong customer service orientation and work ethic.
• Detail oriented with emphasis on quality control.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of laboratory and facility spaces and site orders.
• Support equipment management, installations, calibrations, maintenance and SOPs.
• Participate in resident on- and off-boarding, safety training, and badge access.
