Job summary

Meta, through its Lab Infrastructure, Network, Compliance, and Security team, is seeking a senior network engineer to design and manage the global lab network footprint. You will own end-to-end network design, deployment, and operations for AI and compute lab clusters, working with Arista and other platforms to enable scalable, low-latency workflows across regions.

Responsibilities include leading lifecycle activities, developing automation, and providing training to cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years designing, deploying, and operating production or lab networks.
• Experience with multi-vendor networks (Arista, Cisco, Juniper).
• Experience with IPv4/IPv6, BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, L2/L3 protocols.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end network design, deployment, and operations for AI lab clusters.
• Lead lab network lifecycle activities including upgrades and migrations across regions.
• Develop network automation, templates, and ZTP workflows.
• Troubleshoot L1–L4 issues with packet captures, telemetry, and vendor tools.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, systems, and lab operations teams.
