Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in laboratory services through clinical rotations, internships, or practicum.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and hands-on laboratory experience may be considered.
• Proficiency in complex laboratory procedures with precision and accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory principles, instrumentation, and QC practices.
• Ability to adhere to regulatory standards, safety protocols, and infection control guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and providers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform complex laboratory procedures with accurate test results.
• Document findings meticulously for review by management and providers.
• Perform specimen collection including venipuncture and skin puncture.
• Maintain and calibrate instruments with routine maintenance and sterility checks.
• Adhere to safety policies, OSHA regulations, and QA/QC protocols.
• Analyze data and prepare reports; identify trends and provide recommendations.
• Support development and validation of new lab procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to students, interns, and staff.
