BayCare Health System in Clearwater, FL is hiring for a Lab Medical Assistant II to collect, process, and manage specimens for testing across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include coordinating with nursing and physicians, performing phlebotomy, and referring specimens to external labs as needed. Requires 6 months in phlebotomy or related laboratory field, High School diploma, and a valid driver's license; Bachelor's degree may substitute experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months Phlebotomy, Laboratory related; or related field
• High School or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience acceptable
• Driver's License required
• Credential preferred: Phlebotomy

• Facility: Morton Plant - Outreach
• Location: Clearwater, FL
• Status: FT & PRN
• Shift Hours: 2:30pm-11:00pm (FT) or 11:00pm - 7:30am (PRN)
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: No
